Our story
Founded in Quebec in 1976, Thibert has developed its product and service offering over the years with expansions across Canada. The family business is now active in the United States, becoming one of the largest distributors in North America for wheels and tools. The company also carries an inventory of home products, including patio furniture sets from the MOSS brand, as well as sports and leisure products, including private label electric bikes from the MAUI brand. In the context of the pandemic, Thibert has become an accredited supplier of personal protective equipment.

Foundation of the company
1976Robert Thibert makes mudguards in his apartment in Châteauguay.

1989Founding of the "Docteur du Pare-Brise" banner with 53 franchisees in 2016.

1997Acquisition of the first warehouses in Ontario and the Maritimes, consolidating the company's dominant presence in Eastern Canada.

2000Establishment of the company in Western Canada with a first warehouse in Calgary and consolidation of its presence in Ontario with a new warehouse.

2003Creation of the RTX Wheels brand, which is now a key element of the company's activities.
