Mr. Christian Thibert took over the family business in April 2015, thus carrying forward the entrepreneurial legacy established by his father in 1976. He stepped into the role with a deep understanding of the organization, having previously held several key positions, which allowed him to master all aspects of the company, both strategic and operational.Under his leadership, Thibert has undergone a major transformation, refocusing its operations around three strategic divisions: the Wheel Division, the Tools Division, and the Sports & Outdoor Division.

This shift demonstrates his ability to anticipate market trends and adapt the company in an ever-changing environment.While gradually moving away from its historical focus on automotive and recreational vehicle accessories, Mr. Thibert remains committed to building a company distinguished by its logistical excellence, customer service, and the quality of its partnerships.

Marco Paquette joined our team in January 2018, bringing with him over 25 years of experience in operations management and logistics. He graduated from HEC in 2008 with a degree in operations and logistics management, and subsequently completed an Executive MBA in business administration at the University of Sherbrooke in 2021. Throughout his career, Marco spent 10 years with Uni-Sélect, where he served as Operations Director and was repeatedly recognized for his excellence. He received the Best Team Performance Award and the President's Award for his role as an ambassador for the company's values and vision. Mr. Paquette also served as National Logistics Director for The Master Group for 3 years before joining the Thibert team. Marco is responsible for the company's entire operations, including sales, distribution, and logistics activities. He is renowned for his exemplary leadership, customer focus, high adaptability, and results-oriented approach.

Mr. Mathieu Gagnon has over fifteen years of experience in the business world. At Thibert, Mr. Gagnon is in charge of finance, information technology, business intelligence, and the company's major strategic projects. Before joining Thibert in 2017, Mr. Gagnon worked at several large companies such as General Electric (GE Capital) and Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP). He spent over four years at Deloitte before joining Thibert, where he focused on auditing large financial institutions and ended his tenure in the SME Advisory Services team. Mr. Gagnon holds a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting, in addition to being a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).

Mr. Michel Dandurand has been with Thibert since 1988. He started his career in purchasing and supply, and has developed his skills and expertise as the company has grown. He manages a team of over 15 people in purchasing, including transfers and supply. He is responsible for implementing the strategy and performance of new purchasing programs, cost reduction, supplier relations, and supply policies and procedures. He is also responsible for maintaining relationships with multiple distribution centres to ensure that objectives and priorities are in place and maintained to provide the best cost-effectiveness for the company.
